Carla started her journey into Utah politics over a decade ago and managed campaigns for Glenn Wright for House District 53 and 54 (2010 and 2014) Eileen Gallagher for Utah State Senate, District 26 (2018); Glenn Wright for Summit County Councilman (2016-2022) and Glenn Wright for Congress, U.S. House of Representatives in Utah’s 3rd District (2022 and 2024).

Carla Wright was born in and adopted from El Salvador during the 1980s Civil War and has been a proud American citizen all of her life. She has personal experience with our nation’s racial injustice and broken healthcare and disability-support systems.

She has a professional background in digital marketing, public relations, advertising, and operations, with higher education in Journalism, English, History, Creative Writing, and Public Relations. She has been an integral part of Utah politics and the much-needed minority representation in a diversely growing state. Carla moved from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to Salt Lake City, Utah, in 2017.

Giana Perichella is a first-generation college graduate. Early in her life, she experienced first-hand how classism and socioeconomics have a dark and unfair history with Americans and their families. She has always been equally sensitive, empathetic and deeply opinionated about the world around her—not much has changed.

In 2023, Giana was a campaign staffer for Glenn Wright for Congress, U.S. House of Representatives in Utah's 3rd District during the 2024 Presidential election year. For nearly two years, that experience marked her first foray into political campaigns. Her professional background includes Business and Pre-Law undergraduate studies, and decades of corporate marketing experience specializing in experiential, events and field marketing. She prioritizes her time with an extensive humanitarian history and has volunteered with countless national and local nonprofits. Giana is an Orange County, California native and moved to Salt Lake City, Utah in 2014.

In the 2024 election, Utah was one of the states to see a blue shift across the nation. With Carla and Giana’s expertise, their congressional district led the charge in that national movement.
